    Job Description
    The University City Chamber of Commerce has several internship positions open immediately to help students advance their knowledge base, build professional experience, and apply their university studies in practical situations while advancing the mission of the Chamber in service to local businesses and the community.

    Dependable, talented interns are needed in the following areas:
    • Business/marketing writing (includes writing social media content and business profiles)
    • Event planning, community and public relations
    • Graphic design
    • Web design
    • Sales and marketing (including digital marketing)
    • Information and data management of Chamber members and resources
     
    General skills required:
    • Knowledge, coursework, and/or experience in one or more areas of service (above)
    • Attention to detail
    • Reliability and punctuality
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
    • Experience with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (for digital marketing and social media content writing)
    • Ability to follow verbal and written directions
    • An interest and enthusiasm in learning about the business community
    • Artistic and graphic arts abilities (for graphic design)
    • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking and proofreading in English
