    Crown Center for Senior Living

Crown Center offers independent living in a caring community with a helpful, professional staff devoted to the well-being of residents and program attendees. It has been in University City for more than 50 years and is home to over 225 seniors. The community features a dining room, fitness center, culinary studio, library, computer center, art studio, community garden and greenhouse, and the Circle@Crown Cafe. It is the only senior community in University City that offers a kosher dining room, café and home delivery.

Crown Center doesn't just serve its residents; it also acts as a community center for area seniors with programs, trips, meals and a café that are open to the public. Seniors from surrounding communities and beyond are invited to Crown Center and will surely feel welcome and “at home,” even when they don’t live there.

The community’s location in University City is highly valued by residents, staff and visitors alike thanks to the surrounding businesses, cultural activities, ethnic restaurants and community services. Being within walking distance of Walgreens, Schnucks, area restaurants and shops is also a great advantage for those who live there. Residents especially like being in a vibrant neighborhood and on the Centennial Trail.

For those looking for an opportunity to give back in University City, Crown Center is always looking for active and enthusiastic volunteers to become involved in the dining room and café. If you are interested in volunteering at Crown Center, click here.
